The membership of this church shall be composed of baptized believers in Jesus Christ, who share with us a common dedication to the Lordship of Christ and who are committed to those precepts set forth in our Affirmation of Faith and Covenant.

The membership of this church shall be composed of persons, who without regard to gender, race or national origin, share with us our common beliefs as expressed in our constitution.

Members will be received in any one of the following ways:

1) By profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and subsequent baptism by immersion.

2) By transfer of current membership from another Baptist church of like faith and practice.

3) By statement of faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and a believers baptism.

4) Any exception to the above stated processes of receiving persons into the membership of this church shall be considered and voted upon by the congregation in a properly announced business meeting.

5) On the recommendation of the pastor or the deacons, the congregation by majority vote may grant an exception to the requirement for baptism by immersion for physically handicapped persons or for cases of severe hardship.
