| Words from the "Interim"...
April was truly a great month at WBC! Each Sunday, worship focused on a special theme and the services were well planned around these respective themes. From the Lord’s Supper, to Youth Sunday, to Baptism, we have celebrated the work of God in the life and ministry of this great church. My thanks to “all” who provided leadership each Sunday! My thanks to you as a congregation for your support, prayers, kind words of encouragement and special note cards that have expressed your reception of me and my family and affirmation of my service with you as your interim pastor.
Blessings, |

Red Springs, NC Mission Trip May 10 A group from our church will be going to Red Springs, NC on Saturday, May 10. Many of Westwood members have been to Grifton, NC. Red Springs is a new “Mission Work Camp” similar to Grifton that has been established by NC Baptist Men. Much of the equipment that was in Gulfport, Mississippi, for Hurricane Katrina disaster relief work has been moved to Red Springs. Eddie Williams, who was in charge of the Gulfport operation, is heading up the work in Red Springs. Red Springs is located in Robeson County southwest of Fayetteville.
