Wednesday Evenings Pastor's Bible Study

The church of Jesus Christ is a diverse body; made up of people from every nation, every ethnicity, every socioeconomic group, and every culture. The force that unifies us while maintaining our diversity is our love for Jesus and our commitment serving him. While in a Roman prison, Paul wrote a letter to the church in Ephesus, not for the purpose of correction or to address any specific problem, but to applaud and encourage the family of believers serving there. In his affirmation of the Ephesian church, believers today are challenged to function as the living, breathing body of Christ in our world. During the months of December and January, we’ll study Paul’s letter to the Ephesians as a mechanism for examining the nature and purpose of our own church family. Come join us as we look at what Being the Body of Christ means for us. The topics for December are:

Ladies Bible Study Begins
January 4, 2010

Have you ever wondered why God chose David? David fell as often as he stood, stumbled as often as he conquered. But for those who know the sound of a
Goliath, David proves this reminder:
Focus on Giants—you stumble.
Focus on God—your giants tumble.
If you’re ready to face your giants, let David’s story inspire you. The same God who helped him will help you. Join us on Monday, Jan. 4 at 10:00 a.m. as we study Max Lucado’s book, Facing Your Giants. The study will be led by Terry Campbell.
