Summer, 2006
I can’t believe summer is here! God has blessed us with so many wonderful opportunities for worship, fellowship, missions, and so much more during the next three months. I hope you will take a moment to look through the newsletter and to go ahead and mark your calendar for those events in which you would like to participate. I’m looking forward to a wonderful summer together. I know God has some amazing things in store for us!

Thank you to everyone who helped with Youth Sunday! I am so proud of all that you did and for all the hard work and preparation that went into making this day a wonderful time of worship and praise. God has blessed you with wonderful gifts and talents, and I am so thankful that you are willing to share them! Keep in mind that it’s never to early to start thinking of ideas for next year!

Love, Michelle

A MUSIC NOTE

Most of you have heard the song, “Jesus Take the Wheel” by Carrie Underwood. The theme of the song is that the singer decides to let Jesus take control of her life. The next time you hear this song think about how you relate to it. Why do we sometimes try to take the “wheel” when our faith runs low? When was the last time you took control and forgot God?
